It is the first in the list of different types of houses in India. These are the small houses made by using soil, woods, stone or locally available materials. These are inferior in quality and normally used by poor people. Their presence is very high in rural areas. These houses do not survive for a very long period and require maintenance from time to time. These houses generally don’t have a toilet attached to them.
It is the second in the list of different types of houses in India. These are the spaces which are bought in a multistorey building. These multistorey buildings are generally constructed by the builders or the construction companies. These can be 1BHK, 2BHK, 3BHK or 4BHK. Generally, apartments are not made more than 4BHK. Apartments can be fully furnished or partially furnished depending upon the company what it offers to the customers. Here, BHK refers to bedroom-hall-kitchen so 2BHK means 2 bedrooms, 1 hall, and 1 kitchen.
It is the third in the list of different types of houses in India. Houses that are made for the use of single family only are known as independent houses. They may have gardens, pools and other amenities. Independent houses can be Ranch-style, duplex, bungalows, and villas depending on the need and the budget of the family. While ranch-style homes are low cost, on the other end villas are very costly.
It is the fourth in the list of different types of houses in India. These are the houses which are attached to the farms. Generally, farmers live in a farmhouse to take care of their farms. The farmhouse can be small or big depending upon the need or wish of the farmer. The farmhouse can also be used to store the crops or the products of his farms which could be later transported for the selling purpose.
It is the fifth in the list of different types of houses in India. These are the temporary houses which are made with the tent for the purpose of camping. They are super portable and can fit inside the bag after folding.
